
Al-Ghawth Humanitarian Association for Development inaugurated Al-Aqsa Kindergarten today in the Burj Al-Barajneh Palestinian Refugee Camp, following the completion of comprehensive maintenance and repainting works, funded and supported by the Turkish Sadaka Taşı Association and IHA Austria.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, along with the TİKA Coordinator, the President of the Sadaka Taşı Association, the President of IHA, their accompanying delegations, and the Al-Ghawth Association team.
This project comes as part of the ongoing cooperation between Turkey and Lebanon, aiming to improve the educational environment for children and to provide them with a safe and motivating learning space.
During his speech at the inauguration, the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon stated:
“Our support for education and infrastructure projects in Palestinian camps reflects Turkey’s unwavering commitment to standing by the Palestinian people wherever they are — especially in the field of education, which we consider the key to hope for the future.”
For their part, Al-Ghawth Association and the children’s families expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which restores hope to the educational institution and provides children with a place worthy of their right to learn and grow.
